I spoke recently to a man that stated he believed in evolution instead of the scriptures..
He said he believed in a god that created the earth, but he replied. "I don't know about this
Jesus".

Well, I presented the gospel to Him, but it seemed to just go past him. But in reality, I think
he just did not want to hear. People that believe in evolution think we evolved from tiny creatures,
then into animals and somehow we evolved into men and women.

I have noticed that people that believe this way, state that there is no "right or wrong", there is no
Jesus, no heaven, no hell, and no devil.   I have heard more than one say this statement. Why
do they say this? They have what you would call "an open mind". "There is no black and white
only shades of gray." There is no such thing as sin. They have no reason to "repent", they have
no need of "Jesus". They say this because they do not believe in the Bible, or God's Son. They
believe they came from animals, and so they act like animals. They do not believe they are made i
n the image of God, like Adam and Eve before the fall.

When one turns from the scriptures and the gospel of Jesus, they are left to their own imagination,
their open mind shall we say. There is no fear of God before their eyes. Something is going to have
to fill the void, so all weeds grow up, to prevent the truth of God's word from taking root in their minds.
Who sows these weeds? The devil, according the scripture.

And how do these people act? Are they happy? I don't think so. The ones I know are not happy.
I believe people that refuse the gospel of Jesus, delve into achohol, drugs, partying, free sex, the
love of money, lies, because they think, that this world is all they have. So why not live it up, for
tomorrow they die.. They have no hope for life after death, as this is their heaven.
They are rejecting God's son, and His mercy and grace given to them freely in Jesus.
They are rejecting Jesus.

But the scriptures state:
2Pet.3
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I John 1:
[8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
[9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

But someday this will all end. Time shall end and the invitation to come to Jesus, repent and
believe the gospel, will be heard no longer. Sin will be destroyed, and all those that reject God's
son and the gospel. Until then, we are to believe the gospel and repent everyday, as we are
all undeserving sinners, and continue to fall short of the glory of God. no matter how many
"good works" we do, as we are sinner's because of our sinful nature. That is why we need
Jesus as our anchor beyond the veil, before the Throne of the Father, where He stands in our
place, as our lamb, our righteousness, our sanctification and redemption.

2Cor.9
[15] Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

This is all according to scripture. God's word is true as He cannot lie. I know some say the
scriptures are hard to understand, but they are not. Before we read the scriptures, we need to
pray and ask God to send the Holy Spirit to help us understand the message that is there for us.
The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth, the gospel of Jesus.

John.5
[39] Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify
of me.
John.15
[26] But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of
truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

The scriptures are all about Jesus, and God' mercy and grace, given to undeserving sinners.
And God's patience with sinful man to listen and believe the gospel of Jesus.

God's mercy is everlasting for those that call upon Him, in the name of Jesus, realizing
they are sinners and unworthy. But they come to Him in the name of Jesus, who is our only hope.

It is interesting to me that atheists say there is "no right and no wrong" but if someone stole from them
or attacked them, they would call it "wrong" without a doubt.  But they have no objective standard
with which to say what is right or wrong.  "It is all relative".  Really now?  So they can say if someone
did something to them, they have their own subjective opinion if it is right or wrong.  But if they
choose to do something to another person that is "wrong" they can say to them it is not worng.
Now does that make sense?

These people act like animals with no rules of right and worng, as all is only relative.  Animals
live that way also, but humans, if Christians, believe in "right and wrong" as we have an objective
standard to go by to judge "right and wrong".  If this world were full of atheists they would all
kill each other in the name of "believing all is relative".

They need to be thankfu there are Christians on this earth that do believe in right and wrong.
Atheists believe in evolution, that we came from animals, so they act like animals.  And any church
that believes in evolution, act like animals, they are not Christian.

Catholics also believe in evolution and we believe in the one true God, the evidence for evolution is all around us. If we were created directly by God - then He did a poor job of it, why give us an appendix - it is an organ that is required by herbivores and not needed in modern humans. A better explination is that it is an evolutionary hold over.
Where do fossils come from?
Do you believe that dinosaurs exixted in parallel with humans?
Does it notmake more sence that God created the universe and set in motion certain natural and physical laws that lead to the eventual development of sentient life on this planet.

No, I believe the scriptures, that God created heaven and earth and he created Adam and Eve.  I do not
believe in evolution.

Man is just trying to do away with the truth of scripture, and place man's opinion in it's place.  I will not
accept it.

II Timothy 3:
[15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise
unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
[16] All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:

I will not accept a man's opinion or so called science.

God's word alone is true.  He is not a God that can lie.

Fossils came from Noah's flood on the earth.  That is not difficult to understand.
Yes, I do believe dinasours existed on the earth with humans.

Evolutionary Scientists Find a Surprise!

Matthew 24:44

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him.

According to the Bible's history, human beings were created perfectly by God about 6,000 years ago. We should note that this means we were
not only morally perfect, but genetically perfect as well. According to evolutionists, our ancestors split off from the monkeys millions of years
ago. Both viewpoints agree that each generation of human beings adds mutations to the ongoing human gene pool.

How many mutations are added by each human generation? Researchers with the University of Sussex and the University of Edinburgh
looked for the answer to this question. They examined DNA from living parents and children, as well as known mutation rates for mammals.
They assumed that some mutations would be fatal and thus not added to the overall gene pool. They also assumed that a very few mutations
might be helpful, an assumption that has never been demonstrated to be true. They finally calculated that 100 harmful mutations are added
to the human gene pool by each generation. Their published conclusion was that, considering the millions of years humans have been
evolving, we should have easily accumulated enough mutations to make us extinct a long time ago!

This research is clear evidence for a recent appearance of man and implies that the Earth was created a relatively short time ago,
as portrayed by the Genesis account. However, human life on Earth will end when Jesus Christ returns to collect all believers to live in
a new heaven and Earth.

Prayer: Lord, Your Word is true so I eagerly await Your return for me. Amen.
