It occurred to me that the evangelicals who signed the Manhattan Declaration may not be aware
of the hypocrisy of Catholics who helped draft the unity accord. These Catholics want us to be
cobelligerents with them on protecting human life yet their religious leaders ordered hundreds of
thousands of Reformers put to death for refusing to bow their knee to the pope. They want us to
help defend the institution of marriage to exclude homosexual unions, yet over 50% of their
clergy are homosexual. They want us to stand with them on religious liberty, yet in countries
where Catholicism is in the majority, they resist and oppose the right for people to join other
faiths or religions.


Definitely hypocrisy!!
