Romans 4:
[13] For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
[14] For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
[15] Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
[16] Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
[17] (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
[18] Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
[19] And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
[20] He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
[21] And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
[22] And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
[23] Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
[24] But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
[25] Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 3:
[19] Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
[20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
[21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
[22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
[24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
[25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
[26] To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
[27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
[28] Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Romans 10:4
[1] Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
[2] For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
[3] For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
[4] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
[5] For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
[6] But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above
[7] Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
[8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
[10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Romans 1:
[15] So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
[16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
[17] For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH IMPUTED TO THE SINNER. WE ARE JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD BY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD BY FAITH ALONE IN JESUS AT HIS RIGHT HAND IN HEAVEN, NOT BY ANY WORKS OR DEEDS OF THE LAW WE DO. THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS A LIFE OF FAITH FROM BEGINNING TO END.

WE ARE JUSTIFIED, AND SEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT UNTIL THE DAY OF REDEMPTION THAT REVEALS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS TO US.

Rayna Renee

God's Standard of Righteousness and Man's

God's standard of righteousness is "perfection" without spot or blemish. No falling in and out of perfection but continual perfection all the time!!! That includes our thoughts, motives and intents of the heart at all times, throughout our lives on earth. We must obey all God's laws perfectly without flaw, especially the law of love to God and to man, which is that we are to love God with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves. 100% of the time. Let him who is without sin and thinks he can reach this kind of perfection stand up and speak. I want to meet him.

Man's standard is to do good works, that look good to them without seeing the true motives, and intents of the heart. The Roman church justifies people because of their "good deeds" and "miracles" preformed while on earth and then nominates them as saints.

God does not work that way. He sees the heart, and knows we are all sinners, full of self and self seeking to look good before others, to be honored of men, if we have not been born again by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit does not make us holy before God in ourselves. The Holy Spirit reveals our sinfulness, and the righteousness of Jesus, and our great need of a Savior, as we even with the aid of the Holy Spirit we are sinful in God's sight because of our sinful nature with which we are born. Being born again by the Holy Spirit does not do away with the sinful nature. We battle against it, but it is still there, even in the good we do, but the Holy Spirit does subdue our sinful nature, but never completely. That is why our righteousness, even with the aid of the Holy Spirit is not acceptable to God. Our righteousnes is tainted by the sinful nature.

God Himself, supplied, the perfect spotless righteousness for all that receive Jesus Christ, repent and believe the gospel. It is imputed to the believer, by faith alone in God's word. It is the righteousness of faith alone, which is in Jesus alone, at His right hand in heaven, and given to us freely by the Father alone. God alone receives all the glory as no man has any part in this righteousness. It is a gift given to us freely in Jesus Christ. It is complete, perfect, sinless, and sufficient for our acceptance with God. We can add nothing to it. The Father's graciousness and mercy are revealed in the gospel of Jesus alone.

When we see the standard God has set for us, there is nothing else to do, but bow before Him and acknowledge our sinfulness and need of a perfect, spotless Savior. God reveals Jesus to us, that we are accepted in Him, forgiven of all our sins, and accounted righteous before Him, because of His grace and mercy.

Now when we see people preach the gospel and their lives are lived in open rebellious sin against God continually without repentance, we know they are liars and the truth is not in them. They are wolves in sheep's clothing and they will be exposed by God Himself. Yu say, people do not do this, well, I know different. They will repent or be destroyed. They do not believe or appreciate God's gift in Jesus to them. Their lives are a testimony against them before men. They show that they do not believe the Gospel, and do not have any faith.
They will either humble themselves before God in repentance (Nebuchadnezzar and Manasseh) or be destroyed like Judas.

God knows the ones that are His, as He knows them by name, and they are graven upon His hands. He will never leave nor forsake them, and they will dwell throughout eternity with Him.

RaynaRenee

The "Righteousness that is of Faith"

What is the "righteousness which is of faith?

First of all, it states that this righteousness cannot be seen in this life. It is because it is of fatih.

Heb.11
[1] Now faith IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.
[3] Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Rom.4
[13] For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH.

2Cor.5
[21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.

Romans 3:
[20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified IN HIS SIGHT: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
[21] BUT NOW THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WITHOUT THE LAW is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
[22] EVEN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHIRST UNTO ALL AND UPON ALL THEM THAT BELIEVE: for there is no difference:
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
[24] BEING JUSTIFIED FREELY BY HIS GRACE THROUGH THE REDEMPTIONS WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS.

Therefore according to these verses the "Righteousness of God" is is by faith of Jesus Christ and is unto all and upon all them that believe. Therefore, the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD which is in Jesus Christ is the RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS OF FAITH. This righteousness is not seen in this life, as it is of faith.

It is the righteousness by which a man is justified freely before God, and it is the righteousness of ONE, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST.

Romans 5:
[17] For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the GIFT OF RIGHEOUSNESS SHALL REIGN IN LIFE BY ONE, JESUS CHRIST.
[18] Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so BY THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF ONE, THE FREE GIFT CAME UPON AL MEN UNTO JUSTIFICATION OF LIFE.

Rom.4
[1] What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
[2] For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; BUT NOT BEFORE GOD,
[3] For what saith the scripture? ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS COUNTED UNTO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS
[4] Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
[5] BUT TO HIM THAT WORKETH NOT BUT BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT JUSTIFIETH THE UNGODLY , HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

We are not justified before God by our works, but by our faith in what?
IT IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST.

Rom.10
[1] Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
[2] For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
[3] For THEY BEING IGNORANT OF GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
[4] For CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS to every one that believeth.

We are sanctified and perfected before God by A ONE TIME OFFERING, which is the offering of Himself, Jesus Christ. JESUS OFFERED A ONE TIME SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF FOREVER.

Hebrews 10:
9] Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
[10] By the which will we are SANCTIFIED through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE for all.
[11] And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
[12] But this man, after he had offered ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOREVER, sat down on the right hand of God;
[13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
[14] For by ONE OFFERING HE HATH PERFECTED FOREVER THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED.

We are in Christ Jesus, and accepted in the Beloved at the right hand of the Father.

1Cor.1
[30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Eph.1
[6] To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Therefore our righteousness, which is in Christ Jesus, which is the "Righteousness of Faith", or the "Righteousness of God", is in heaven, at the right hand of the Father. It is not of man's works, it cannot be seen in this life, but is imputed to the believer forever, when he is justified.
IT IS NOT IN THE BELIEVER, BUT UNTO HIM AND UPON HIM, BY FAITH ALONE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO IS THE WORD OF GOD. The righteousness of God, the Righteousness of faith, is not in Man, it is in Christ Jesus alone, at teh right hand of the Father in heaven. Our faith is in Jesus, not in ourselves, in anything, or in any man.

This righteousness is a gift of God to undeserving sinful man in Christ Jesus, and is of faith alone, through God's mercy and graciousness!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do we believe the word of God, or not? If not, we shall abide in unbelief and go about trying to do good works, to be seen and honored of men, but not before God.!!!!!!!!!! THE RIGHTEOUSNESS BY WHICH WE ARE HONORED OF GOD IS NOT IN US, BUT IN CHRIST JESUS. We are rejecting God's gift of Salvation in Christ Jesus, if we deny it is complete, sufficient and finished, and is not by faith alone,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know who puts these question marks in my post, but I would ask that they stop.

RaynaRenee

Just wanted to mention the issue with works and faith as some people say according to James we are justified by faith and works.

When reading the book of James I notice that James states:
"Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works; SHEW ME thy faith without thy works, and I will SHEW THEE my faith by my works".
To whom is James speaking? Is he speaking about our justification before God? Of course not, he is speaking to people, NOT TO GOD, and he is showing his faith to people by his works. HE IS JUSTIFYIING HIMSELF BEFORE MEN by his works.

But what does the scripture about being justified BEFORE GOD by our works?
Romans 4:
"For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory,BUT NOT BEFORE GOD"

Gal. 3:11,12
"But that no man is justified by the law IN THE SIGHT OF GOD, it is evident for, The just shall live by faith."
"AND THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH".....

Gal. 3:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law, FOR BY THE WORKS OF THE LAW SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED.

Romans 3:20
Therefore, by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified IN HIS SIGHT, for by the law is the knowledge of sin."

Romans 3:21-24
21: BUT NOW THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF WITHOUT THE LAW IS MANIFESTED , being witnessed by the law and the prophets,
22: Even the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, WHICH IS BY FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST UNTO ALL AND UPON ALL THEM THAT BELILEVE; for there is no difference,
23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
24: Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus

Romans 3: 26,27
"To declare, I say, at this time HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, that he might be just, and the justified of him which believeth in Jesus."
"Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the LAW OF FAITH."

We are justified IN THE SIGHT OF GOD by the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, which is in Christ Jesus, through faith and is unto all, and upon all them that believe, but not IN US.
It is a righteousness which is of faith alone, in Christ alone, and is imputed unto the sinner who believes. It is not of works as one can see from the scripture above. And Jesus is in heaven at the right hand of God, where He mediates on our behalf his merits that we may come before the Father in His name. Jesus is the door and there is no other way to come to God but by Him and His merits, not ours, as we have a sinful nature. Sin may not stand in the presence of God, that is why we need a Savior, and we need the imputed RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD alone, which is the righteousness of faith alone, in Jesus alone, to be justified before Him. God does receive all the glory alone, as man is just the recipient of God's mercy and grace to the undeserving sinner in Jesus, which is by faith alone.

Just notice the verses that state:
"in His sight"
"but not before God"
"in the sight of God"
They all speak of our justification before Him, which is not of our works or deeds of the law.

James speaks of justifying ourselves before men, by our works,or deeds of the law, but not before God.
RaynaKayRN@aol.com

Why do people not like the truth of "Justiification by faith alone"?

Simply, because they have no part in this message, and no glory, but they have to sit outside the gate "Beautiful" and are only beggars wearing filthy rags, waiting for Jesus to pass by and acknowledge them, and call them by name. There is no pride on man's part in this messasge. He does nothing but believe God's word, accept it and assent to it that it is true. It is all of God's mercy and grace in Jesus given to the sinner freely without price and without cost. It is free for the taking.

But who will believe God's word? Very few, as who wants any part in something that gives no glory to to himself before men. He must realize he is wearing filthy rags, he is condemned and hopeless, like the leper, without the mercy of God given to him in Jesus.

When he sees the beauty of Jesus and the mercy of God to Him, in that in Jesus is eternal life, righteousness, forgiveness, sanctification and redemption given to him freely, he will confess, and repent of his sins in dust and ashes and state he is not worthy of such a gift.

We shall feel like Mary when she was told by the angel that she would bring forth a son, whose name would be Jesus, the son of the Highest.
She realized she needed a Saviour also, as she was a sinner. Her words are for those that realize their lost condtion without Jesus, and rejoice in God's gift to them in Jesus.

Luke 1:
46] And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
[47] And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
[48] For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
[49] For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
[50] And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
[51] He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
[52] He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
[53] He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
[54] He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;
[55] As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

But that is the way God planned it.
I Cor. 1
[23] But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
[24] But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
[25] Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
[26] For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
[27] But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
[28] And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
[29] That no flesh should glory in his presence.
[30] But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
[31] That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Isa.57
[15] For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

2Cor.9
[15] Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

RaynaRenee
